Role Information

This role involves:

  • Working with clients, architects, and contractors to achieve the required project outcomes.
  • Preparing reports, liaising with approving authorities and assisting clients with the consenting process.
  • Carrying out site inspections and construction supervision.
  • Overseeing and coaching the work of small teams.
  • Co-ordinating project and technical delivery as required.  
  • Business development and client management.
  • Understanding the NZ Engineering environment and local requirements.
    (Requiring a minimum of 2 years' experience working in NZ in a similar position)

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the areas listed above. Be able to demonstrate their communication skills and experience in effectively leading teams. It is a requirement that this is based on strong NZ experience and at least 7-10 years in structural design. Supported by an interest to develop ongoing relationships with Architects and Consultants. You may have acquired your CMEngNZ or be close to completion.
